People of cuddalore demand shutters along the bund raised on the sides of the rivers Kedilam and Penniyar

The river bunds of Kedilam river and Pennaiyar river has been constructed at a cost of 200 crore ruppees.

The river bund will not allow the rain water from the resident areas to flow into the river during heavy rains.

As a result the town will be flooded with rain water that could be logging in the low lying areas with no way to flow into the rivers.

Will the authorities look into this ?
